add a box for exp date when submitting coupons
The problem with listing expiry dates is that they are not actually always correct.
We've found that quite often a promotion will run past the specified date for days, weeks and even months.

See above.

Require it, anyway! Why ask what site users want unless you intend to implement changes? If we have enough spare time, we'll test expired coupon dates on our own, like we've always done, but give us a clue, at least, so we waste the least amount of time looking for that discount. I just plowed through eight expired coupons on the smartbargains list. One was seven months out of date!!!

I just plowed through 14, which was every coupon code available for that merchant. Time is a valuable, precious and finite commodity. Please do as KtriciaK has so intelligently suggested and at least require an expiration date.

In addition to the original explanation, expiry dates arent always made public or even decided on when the merchant begins the offer. Please rely on the rating and the spark lines.

I got an email from Kodak that the code 25SUMMERSUN has been extended for a few more days. So I'm glad that RetailMeNot didn't automatically remove it when the original expiration date hit.
