    delete outdated/non-working coupons

    Clean up the riff raff!

The reason we don't remove old coupons is that we have regularly seen old coupons, that haven't worked for weeks, just start working again. Check the spark-line graph to see how recently the coupon worked before you try it.

stop letting stores remove their coupons from the site.

If they don't want people to use the coupons, they should not give them out in the first place.

Unless a site, store, or company advertises with you, their coupons should be fair game for everyone.

organize into free shipping, free gifts, percent off, etc.

Organize coupon codes so that if you want a free shipping code, you know where to look and you don't have to go through so many codes. Also, if you repeatedly see a code that gets comments that they are expired, make a section for that. People can keep trying it, but you will have a better idea that it may not work!

add a box for exp date when submitting coupons

The problem with listing expiry dates is that they are not actually always correct.

We've found that quite often a promotion will run past the specified date for days, weeks and even months.

Allow us to delete our comments if we've made a mistake

Before typing my comment about a coupon code for Blockbuster, I clicked on the button indicating it didn't work for me. I didn't realize that made the coupon box go away and the one below it come up. I was all done when I saw that my comment was in a box were it didn't make any sense! It would be a huge benefit to be able to delete our comments in such situations or even go back and edit them in any situation.

add an expiry field to coupon listings

An optional expiry field when adding coupons would greatly reduce time spent looking for valid vouchers. A "hide expired coupons" checkbox would hide icons with a specified expiry date that has passed.

This solution is non-destructive (expired coupons can still be viewed if the user so wishes) and improves user efficiency in finding coupons.

    Please create rogue store list

Reading through posts, it appears that many shoppers have been duped by probable nefarious marketing tactics - knowingly posting worthless codes, encouraging shoppers to use the codes and then charging shoppers full price after orders have been received.
Until a class action has been initiated, please create a rogue site list to enable us to steer clear of stores that employ dishonorable marketing practices.
    Thank you

Notification when someone comments on a deal I posted.

Via email or the site. I'd like to know if I've helped someone. Plus, if there's something wrong I may be able to post a corrected code or tell people where to enter the code with another comment on the deal.

Enable the bookmarklet for HTTPS sites

Usually when I am shopping on a site and needs to put in coupon code, the site will use HTTPS (secure) url. If I use the bookmarklet on those sites, RetailMeNot only shows "https.com" as the search string instead of the real site.

Facilitate feedback to stores that don't participate

I'd like to have a way to give feedback to stores that request their coupon codes are removed from the site. I regularly choose to buy from a store that has coupon codes listed over one that does not. For example, I went to Land's End based on an email they sent me. Just before I purchased my items, I checked for coupon codes on this site and found they didn't allow them. Knowing that Eddie Bauer has similar merchandise but participates in this site, I went to eddiebauer.com, found some great coupon codes, and bought there instead.

I'd like to have a button that links back to a store's customer service department (or someone higher up, if we could!) so users can tell them that they didn't get the sale because they were beat out by their competitor who participates in retailmenot.com. Hopefully, with enough of these messages it would encourage them to reconsider their practice of removing coupon codes from the site.

allow linking coupon codes to affiliate links

When users click on coupons, they are taken to the store's website. I'd like to suggest having the flexibility to set this link (when clicking on coupon code) to submitters' affiliate link. Most of us will be happy with this instead of writing the link in the description section, which coupon users don't bother to copy and paste.

GIVE-Start/End dates on EACH coupon, upfront/E-Z to see!!

I LOVE your service, but if your provided a more specific/standardized template for people to fill in, using the coupons would be easier AND more reliable. Something like:
    STORE:_______ Coupon gives you:______
    Start date:_____ Ends:_______
    Any Restrictions? NO_ YES______________

Site on top bold, code on bottom

The Site and savings should be large an highlighted on the top of each description pod, and the discount code or link should be smaller and on the bottom. I am only interested in the code after I determine that an offer and savings is good.
